KANECARON®

Kanecaron® is the brand name of a range of inherently flame-retardant modified acrylic (modacrylic) fibres that are designed to blend perfectly with natural or man made fibres to produce the highest quality textiles, with superb handle, drape and appearance.

Kanecaron® fabrics are synonymous with good quality, printability and dyeability, as well as providing high abrasion resistance, good looks and of course inherent flame retardancy. The fact that Kanecaron is a weft only solution, means that the finished fabrics can have a warp made from natural fibres like cotton or wool, or other synthetics like polyester, which do not require any FR treatment.

By using Kanecaron® fibre in the weft, the whole of the fabric becomes FR, and unlike chemical-treated fabrics, the FR qualities of Kanecaron® will not wash out!
